It has been 8 months since we have moved to the Seychelles and I think I can safely say that we have settled in comfortably and are well and truly used to island life now. Here are a few more things that happened in March reflecting typical island life.
I am writing this post, sat on our sunny terrace over-looking the beach whilst listening to the rising tide lap against the granite rocks and I’m feeling very satisfied that we have just picked our first bunch of bananas from the garden. Since living here, we have had a range of goodies from our gardens but for some reason bananas definitely have that island ring to them.
I woke up around dusk on new year’s day and wondered where I was. We had a few drinks the evening before to welcome the new year and it took me a while to realise the view I could see straight ahead of me was not from a friend’s window but the picturesque view in our new pad!
December has been a very eventful month to say the least. It has once again been full of adventures and we have ended with plenty more stories to share.
