Jay and I are using a rainy day to update the blog.
Yes, we even have a little throw…it has gone down to 23 degrees! (God help us when we head back to the UK for Christmas)
First up the Jaychelles page finally has something on it! Jay will be filling his section with all things marine and terrestrial. He has made a start but keep an eye out for more updates. Follow his Instagram for more @jaymcbride89
I have also decided to add a section about the Islands of the Seychelles. Here we will write about the islands we have visited with some extra information and photographs.
Coming soon – a section specifically for snorkelling and diving!
It has been 8 months since we have moved to the Seychelles and I think I can safely say that we have settled in comfortably and are well and truly used to island life now. Here are a few more things that happened in March reflecting typical island life.

We always make sure that we go for walks along the beach and take in all its beauty, we are very lucky to live right on the beach and have even more gorgeous and quiet beaches just around the corner! Some people might think you could get bored of this but there is always something new to see or something you didn’t notice the last time.

I am writing this post, sat on our sunny terrace over-looking the beach whilst listening to the rising tide lap against the granite rocks and I’m feeling very satisfied that we have just picked our first bunch of bananas from the garden. Since living here, we have had a range of goodies from our gardens but for some reason bananas definitely have that island ring to them.
